Christmas Cookie Decoration
Saturday 9th December - 10.00 am-1.00 pm
Venue: The Centenary Hall, Kempston
This will be a family participation event that will take place at The Centenary Hall in Kempston.
We'll be working with Julia from Creme Brew Lait to decorate some delicious gingerbread and cookies.
Tickets are £3 per child.
You can then take home your yummy box of decorated cookies afterwards.

We will have several Health representatives including; Speech & Language, CAMHS, 0-19 Team, Chums and more. This is an opportunity for you to come and speak to them about any challenges you're facing for example; medication, waiting lists, speech and language issues and many more.
Please note that you have to book to speak to one of the representatives.

Are you unsure of what is reasonable to ask for in the way of support for your child within education?
In this workshop, we will guide you through the Equality Act 2010 and look at the requirements of educational settings to provide reasonable adjustments for your child.

Whether your child has an Autism diagnosis or not, you can drop in to speak to the Autism Spectrum Team for support. Here you will learn about the different levels of intervention available, based on your child's individual needs.

We will have practitioners from the Bedford Borough local authority including Health, Educational Psychologists, Social Services, SEND Team and more. Ten-minute slots are available with each practitioner to discuss your child's needs. You need to Email us to book.
Understanding ADHD in Education (Online)
Tuesday 27th February- 6:30-9:00 pm
This training will help you to understand the executive functioning of ADHD and the impact it has on your child daily. You will also learn about exclusions, the type of support that can be implemented and what to do if your child is at risk.

Identifying Strengths, Needs and Provisions in SEND Reports (Online)
Thursday 21st March- 6:30-9:00 pm
This is a practical workshop which will assist you in identifying your child’s needs and strengths in professional reports and how to link these to ‘provision’. It will also help you feel more confident when reviewing reports and discussing support and provision for your child with professionals.
